Safeguarding Policy
Policy Statement
This policy document outlines the procedures to be followed and identifies the relevant contacts
for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
Introduction
Oxford Manor College recognizes that all children and vulnerable adults have the right to live
their lives to the fullest potential, to be protected, to have the opportunity to participate in and
enjoy any activity, and to be treated with dignity and respect. The College has both a moral and
legal obligation to ensure a duty of care for children and vulnerable adults across its community.
We are committed to ensuring that all children and vulnerable adults are protected and kept safe
from harm whilst engaged in our environment. We believe that safeguarding is everybody’s
responsibility.
